Welcome!
Assiniboine Chorus is a fabulous group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. We are an award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a non-profit, worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.
This year we are proudly celebrating 36 years as a Sweet Adelines chapter!
Our director is the wonderful Marlaine Stevens who inspires us to reach new heights with each performance. We can be heard throughout the year, singing for civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events, and fundraisers.
Our Mission: The Assiniboine Chapter, through good leadership, education, discipline and dedication, strives toward excellence and enjoyment in singing four-part harmony, Barbershop Style. In an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at the highest level possible, we compete each year in a regional competition and have won many medals over the years.
