Young Women In Harmony (YWIH)

 

Are you a young woman under 25 years old?  Do you love to sing and wonder what it might be like to sing in a barbershop chorus or quartet?  Sweet Adelines International's Young Women In Harmony program teaches emerging voices the skills, joy and rewards of performing and singing four-part harmony, barbershop style. It offers both musical excellence and education while it gives young women a taste of show business. This program provides educational tools to teach young women singers the joy of performing this American vocal music art form.

 

   
 

MISSION STATEMENT   The Young Women in Harmony program reaches out to young women through the American musical art form of barbershop harmony.  Its goal is to provide educational and performance opportunities and to offer music educators a means of including the study and performance of barbershop harmony in school music programs.
