Who is Assiniboine Chorus?

Assiniboine Chorus is a fabulous group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. We are a non-profit,chorus of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony.

There's something special about the sound of ladies voices raised in harmony and the fun can be infectious. We can be heard throughout the year, singing for civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events and fundraisers.

Assiniboine Chorus is proud to be a member of Manitoba Choral Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, strengthening, and promoting the choral arts in Manitoba.

Assiniboine Chorus is more than just an a cappella choir, it is a family.  We love getting together each week, and we love sharing friendships as well as beautiful music in 4-part harmony. It's a wonderful way to have fun singing and enjoy a "ladies night out".

If you like to sing, you're invited to visit Assiniboine Chorus and discover your INNER DIVA! No previous experience is required.

Sitting in on one of our rehearsals is the perfect way to find out more about us and what we can do for you! You'll have the opportunity to hear us perform four-part, a cappella harmony, and you'll be invited to join us to experience the music, friendship, and fun for which Assiniboine Chorus is known!
Please note that we are a scent-free chorus.
